Follower Editorial
Follower Editorial is the credit used for editorial work on Follower’s guides, reviews and features. A Follower fact-checking credit refers to our own review of the article. We identify any external specialist review separately.
Articles without an individual byline may also use Follower Editorial as the writing credit.
We sometimes use AI tools for planning and early drafts. Follower remains responsible for checking sources and deciding what to publish.
What the fact-check covers
Depending on the article, review typically includes:
- Source support — material claims about fees, features, rules or news events are checked against cited documentation or attributed reporting
- Calculations — arithmetic in worked examples, fee sketches and similar tools is checked against the stated assumptions
- Evidence and experience: We distinguish platform documentation, our own account records and practical suggestions.
- Platform rules and dates — time-sensitive policy or pricing statements are checked against the sources and dates used in the piece
- Affiliate disclosures — pages that may include commercial links carry an appropriate disclosure and do not let affiliates drive factual claims
Platform fees and rules can change after an article is published. Check the current official terms before making a financial decision or moving to another platform.
